My name is Modou Taal and I have been a well known Gambia local and professional bird guide who has a wealth of experience in finding and recognizing birds since 2005.
I’m be able to guide visitors on birding excursions at around 30 locations all over Gambia and Senegal. Also I am a founding member of the Gambia Bird Watching Association and been committed to conservation and play a major role as project leader.

Gambia is a paradise for Birdwatchers
One of the most popular places is Kotu Creek. Kotu Creek is easily accessible from nearby hotels, yet feels like a wild sanctuary and over 350 bird species have been recorded in the area. From resident tropical species to European migrants visiting during autumn and spring, both amateurs and enthusiasts will find plenty to marvel at.
